How It Works
The Sonihull marine growth prevention system is a credible alternative to impressed current and anode based cathodic protection systems, requiring no dry-docking or replacement of expensive anodes.
The Sonihull system uses ultrasound pulses transmitted by transducers fitted to the inside of the hull. These transducers create microscopic agitation that destroys algae on the surface of the vessel, removing the attraction for barnacles, mussel larvae and other larger organisms to attach to the surface.
Easy to fit the non-invasive and unobtrusive system works season after season, with no maintenance required.
The Sonihull system will also protect pipework, sea chests, box coolers, heat exchangers, stern drives and propellers.
